Options.

I’m pleased to announce that Stephen Susco, writer of THE GRUDGE, and writer/producer of upcoming films HIGH SCHOOL (June 1st) and THE POSSESSION (Aug 30), has optioned the film and tv rights in Prince of Thorns and the Broken Empire trilogy published by Ace/Berkley in the US and Voyager in the UK.

    This is brilliant. Congrats on the potential opportunity for Stephen Susco to possibly put together a PRINCE OF THORNS movie! (Hedging due to the reality of this.)

    So...who would you like to see in what role?

      If getting to the screen were a marathon, this would represent having put on running shoes! But strangely I was asked to cast the movie nearly 9 months ago: http://mybookthemovie.blogspot.co.uk/2011/09/mark-lawrences-prince-of-thorns.html Bottom line though - no idea! :)

    Oh Godness. I don't know if I'm happy or not.
    One thing is clear, though, it doesn't matter who is going to play Jorg I will never reach Jorg from the book!

    Love the books ,the genre of fantasy has been popularized by the tv series the game of thrones
