No really, I have of course heard of him but haven't gotten to him on my long list yet. I'll definitely bump him up a few spots now. Thank you.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12035715759626775321noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3529725084811715233.post-8658281815825051482014-12-19T12:20:37.969-08:002014-12-19T12:20:37.969-08:00Big fan of Mr. Moorcock's. I came across Elric: the Stealer of Souls, and the blurb on the back promised something quite different. Here was a character with addictions to drugs and sorcery, described as a rock-and-roll style anti-hero. I believe that my love for Moorcock's SFF Multiverse is very apparent in my own fantasy work. Needless to say, I'm still hooked and consider Mr Moorcock to be one of the finest writers of SFF. I mean, an sickly albino sorcerer, cursed to carry a sword that swallow souls, who is destined to kill all his friends, and who has an inappropriate relationship with his sister? Yup, that's where it started for me.Bob/Sallyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07830145891314387373noreply@blogger.com
