It was difficult to read the Justice parts which made me like 'King of Thorns' a tiny bit less than I would have even though I can understand how it made sense for Jorg's character history. But as a whole, I'd say I liked it the most. However, my favorite moment of all three books came out of Emperor of Thorns. When Jorg spared Lesha the pain that would come and gave himself a chance against the Perros Viciosos...so pragmatic in that bloodletting maneuver.jadedatmidnighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06595868955995731732noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3529725084811715233.post-64651618201242251652013-08-30T01:34:14.358-07:002013-08-30T01:34:14.358-07:00I can't choose between them. Jorg's savagery at such a young age is shocking in 'Prince' and you know there just has to be a reason for it, but of course it takes all three books to reveal all the reasons. I think we all just want to understand such a dark morally bankrupt character and even in 'Emperor' he's still a boy (just) so his immaturity still puts in a regular appearance. I'd have loved to see him mature to an adult to see how much he would change but having said that ... Maybe because I'd never met anyone like Jorg before, maybe it was my intense need to find the good in him, maybe I understood him. Whatever it was he really spoke to me as a young boy.
