Although excellent in its own right, this is merely Tom Roberts' rough for the cover. The finished article will be along the same lines but different and considerably more detailed.

ReplyDeleteI pre-ordered your next book!!!! I prefer to read a series after it's completed, but I adore everything you've written, so I'm willing to suffer in between installments. (Assuming, of course, that this is the beginning of another trilogy...) In the meanwhile, I'm going to start reading all your books again but in a different order, so I can follow Taproot from Impossible Times. He is honestly my favorite character because the through line through so many stories blows me away. I love how Jorg evolves across your stories as well. Later, you almost don't know it's him! The 10,000 foot perspective on these characters is very different from seeing them one book at a time. (I really hope I'm not wrong about them; it's subtle at times!)
