  1. I love that I can count on this to introduce me to new authors. I remember getting turned onto Mike Shel through this.

  2. I have read 3 so far and my favorite at this point is Blood of Heirs. Lidan has a bit of Nona in her. I am still surprised at the quality of the skill.

  3. I finished all ten. First , I found all the books to be solid tales but for me 6 stood out. Blood of Heirs, Never Die, Tale of Stars and Shadows, Blade's Edge, Sword of Kaigen and Fortune's Fool. Blood of Heirs won the tie breaker with the great character of Lidan

    1. That is awesome that you also read all 10 and gave your favorites!! Great job!

  4. Looking forward to see what the final score is for Sword of Kaigen.

  5. I know the final scores are still coming in and being averaged, but the stakes for next year have increased tremendously!

  6. I hope everyone has had a chance to watch some of the video panels and reading from QuaranCon2020. Search it on YouTube. Be sure to watch the contest panel and find out that the SPFBO 5 authors have all become great friends as a result of the contest. Lastly all the book in this contest are a great read.

  7. I was so certain that zshane Scott would be the winner. His book is so powerful.
